Tasty Preparation Tips: -Use vegetable or chicken stock instead of water to enhance the flavour -Saute 1 chopped onion in 1 Tbsp (15 mL) of oil on medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the water or stock as well as lentils and continue to follow the cooking directions above -Toss in your favourite chopped vegetables at the end

1 tsp (5 mL) dried oregano
1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried basil
1/2 tsp (2 mL) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (1 mL) dried rosemary
2 1/4 cups (560 mL) water
