This smoothie is a wonderful way to start the day. Use whatever combination of frozen berries you have on hand.

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until very smooth. Pour into four glasses and serve immediately.

2 cups (500 mL) frozen mixed berries

1 cup (250 mL) plain yogurt

1/2 cup (125 mL) cooked split red lentils

1/4 cup (60 mL) orange juice

6 mint leaves

1 Tbsp (15 mL) maple syrup

1 tsp (5 mL) orange zest

1/2 tsp (2 mL) turmeric
