2 tsp (10 mL) canola oil
1 white onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 Tbsp (15 mL) chopped ginger
2 Tbsp (30 mL) sesame seeds
1 head, cauliflower, grated or gently pulsed in a food processor
2 cups (500 mL) cooked green lentils
1/2 cup (125 mL) frozen peas
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
3 Tbsp (45 mL) soy sauce
1 lime, zest and juice
3 green onions, finely sliced
Quick tip: Baby shrimp, tofu, or cooked chicken can easily be included in this recipe.
Add chopped red bell pepper for added colour and flavour.
